The Pastor

We come to Jesus knowing salvation through Him is the only way to redemption. He said: "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." He also said only some will be called and we must hear Him. Do you hear Him calling?

Pastor Diana Verhulst is an ordained minister and the pastor at Advent Christian Church in Prophetstown, Ill., called to serve in PTown on April 27, 2023. She attended Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, Indiana. Diana has her B.A. from Cal State Northridge, post-grad work from the same, from UCLA, and Bethany, and lives in Prophetstown with her farmer husband Bob and her cat Abby. She grew up in a small village in rural Stephenson County. Diana lived in California for 30 years after having graduated from Cal State Northridge, but moved back to the Midwest where her heart belongs in 2004. She moved from Lake Summerset (near Wisconsin) to PTown in 2015 to marry Mr. Robert Verhulst. She has two grown sons.
