The Pastor

Pastor Diana Verhulst is an ordained minister and the pastor at Prophetstown Advent Christian Church, called to serve on April 27, 2023. She attends Trinity Evangelical Divinity School currently seeking a Masters level Grad Certificate in Christian Counseling; she previously attended Bethany Theological Seminary and the Brethren Academy in Richmond, Indiana.  Diana earned her B.A. from Cal State Northridge, post-grad work from the same, and from UCLA, Trinity, and Bethany, and lives in Prophetstown with her farmer husband Bob and her cat Abby.  She grew up in a small village in rural Stephenson County. Diana lived in California for 30 years after having graduated from Cal State Northridge, but moved back to the Midwest where her heart belongs in 2004.  She moved from Lake Summerset (near Wisconsin) to PTown in 2015 to marry Mr. Robert Verhulst.
